Logically, it is understandable my family is gonna have a lot of trinkets after 40 years, but holy fuck why do we have so many trinkets?
Tho I gotta admit, while the act of moving shit around has been A PAIN IN THE ASS (I don't do a lot because of my physical condition), it sometimes has good moments when I find stuff for a decade or two ago. My elementary school PowerPuff Girls journal, those THE DOG plushies I got so many years ago, one of my AMV trophies, my Mandarin Chinese books (what if someday I try to get the HSK 1 certification?).
As time goes on, maybe it is good to have items to remind us of our different eras and arcs.
